Light brown to amber in colour with an off-white head that produces lovely lace.
Malty aroma: toasted, a little burned even, with a nice chocolatey note, a little spiciness, some nut and some grainy qualities. Dark fruit (like prunes) is heavy and hops are mildly aromatic yet spicy enough to punch through the malt and make a mark.
Sweet and fruity upfront when tasted, followed by a sour and very refreshing taste with a salty note and a soft touch of hops in the distance. The finish slowly turns dry and develops a pleasant roasty bitterness.
A medium body with fine but strong carbonation.
Serving type: bottle
