this beer has a very dark color to it. the aroma i smell from it when i poured it into my glass was roasty and almost nutty. its got a hint of oatmeal taste to it but very robust and malty. i would definitely recommend this to anyone just getting into stouts. i myself and starting to venture into stouts and this beer hits the spot. i looked online and it said that it has an ABV of 6%. looks like its a sesonal winter beer also. i would give this stout a 4 out of 5.

Dark, dark brown with a thick brown head. Not quite black. Aroma of cherry and vanilla. Tastes primarily of cherry with some vanilla. Oatmeal bitterness nicely balances the sweet bourbony booziness. Nothing overly complex or over the top about this brew but its certainly decent and quite drinkable. The cherry flavors are really rather nice and richly developed. Mouthfeel is slick as oil, light to medium bodied for the style, and wet. Pretty drinkable if you like bourbon barrel aging.
