Poured from a can purchased at the brewery last night.
L: Pours a cloudy orange with an eggshell colored head that quickly fades to a ring. It leaves a nice filmy lacing.
S: Citrus fruit and sweet malts.
T: It's a bit sweet upfront.
F: Medium bodied, nice carbonation.
O: Not bad, but not sure I'd buy it again.

What a disappointment. The hops were obviously slayed before they got near the beer. Cloudy, rust-colored pour and a sustained foamy head were promising, but then the taste was overwhelmingly malty. Not at all the happy hoppy burst I was expecting from this diabolical, hop-crowned skull adorned can. Feel was velvety with a light carbonation. Would kill if rebranded as a scotch ale.

can not dated but sold cold and new style orange no low rider just skull with hat and stache and flavor saver (looks better at least) into a tulip
it's orange tinged murked up brown big thick small bubbled head
smells like caramel roasty malts and band aids
it tastes sweet yes but also nicely bitter with some tea action
feels ok medium body medium bubbles the bitterness keeps it dry and clean it doesn't taste sweet like it smells
i'm surprised i don't hate it based on the smell and look. wouldn't buy it again though.

Pours a turbid, murky burnt orange with just under two fingers of off-white head. Nice retention and lacing. Aroma is full of citrus, orange, and resin hops, with biscuit malts. Well blended and dynamic aroma. Flavor profile is very similar. The malt profile is much heavier in the flavor profile then the aroma. Citrus, orange, and resin hops punch through as well. Mouth feel is thick, with some carbonation harshness and graininess. Overall, a well-put together DIPA with strong characteristics. The malt profile is heavy, and drowns out some of hops in the flavor profile.
Served in a 12oz snifter.
