Served in a tall pokal at the brewpub.

Nice to find another super-local O-Fest, just under the season's wire. It pours the usual clear auburn-tawny topped by a finger or so of light cream-tan foam. The nose comprises caramel, flowers, light orange zest, and a small bit of maple syrup. The taste toasts the caramel a bit and increases the orange character, leaving the rest as is. The toasted caramel really gives this brew a unique flair. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a pretty smooth feel. Overall, a very nice O-Fest, simple and different thanks to the toastedness. I wish I had found this one a bit sooner... (651 characters)
