Pours a very slightly less than clear pale golden with big foamy white head.
Aroma of grainy malt with notes of honey, bread and a hint of floral character.
Tastes of grainy cereal malt, toast, with a bit of spicy floral hop and a light bitterness at the back of the palate.
Light side of medium mouthfeel with soft lingering bitterness.

On tap at Doubleday Cafe in Cooperstown, NY.

This one pours a light amber color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells primarily malty, with a bit of lemony and grapefruity hops.

I didn't expect much out of this, and my expectations were met. It was certainly not bad, but it's mainly malt driven, and feels almost English in feel. The malt character is not interesting enough to drive the beer as such, and there's very little hop character.

This is light bodied, mostly clean, and pretty drinkable. If you don't think about the beer too much, it's more enjoyable.

This has no outward brewing flaws - it's just boring and a little bit out of balance.
