A. Pours a hazy dark gold with tons of bubbles floating to the surface and an absolutely massive head (even with a patient pour) with good retention as well. Leaves behind some sticky lace.
S. Bready Malts and some spicy hop prescence. Definately alot going on in the nose.
T. A pretty well balanced beer with a malt backbone and some piney hops to even it out. Its a tad bitter, but not bad. As it warms a sweet caramel note sticks out. Very nice.
M. Medium body that goes down fairly well and leaves a bit of a dry and sour aftertaste.
D. Has an odd creaminess about it. I dig it. At 4.3 ABV its highly sessionable.

Draft at the brewery on a Pittsburgh visit. Pours clear golden colored with a very small soft white head. Aroma is light fruits, some light grassiness, and not much else. Flavor follows with lightly sweet citrus, sweet light malts, hay, nearly no hop presence whatsoever. Light bodied with medium low carbonation. Meh.

Appearance: Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. There was a scant head that fell quickly to a very thin ring of foam.
Aroma: Sweet grapefruit with a definite malt presence.
Taste: There was a faint sour hit at first contact, but the predominant taste was malt with some oranges and maybe bread along with a mild hops presence. The hops lingered along with some of the malty sweetness.
Mouthfeel: The body was on the thin side. The carbonation was appropriate.
Overall: This drinks as a classic American pale ale. It was refreshing and enjoyable; I especially liked the hints of orange in the taste. I don't think I've seen this in my area (southeast Michigan), but if I see it when I'm in the Pittsburgh area, I'd consider getting some.
