Paid $30 for a mixed case...
The beer pours a clear, dark brown base, with a medium sized head, 15 minute retention, no lacing. The beer hints of toffee and roasted malts, well-balanced.
The beer tastes sweet at first and at the end, in the middle is the roasted malts from the aroma and caramel tones as well. It's not too heavy in the mouth, and it fairly drinkable, but I would think after a few, a beer less sweet would be in order.
Final Thought: This dunkel tastes good!
