This beer was consumed on the terrace at La Cervoise in Mons, Belgium.
Appearance: Pours a nice reddish orange color with a light tan ring of a head. Served in a sniffer with the beer logo on it. The beer leaves excellent lacing on the side of the glass.
Smell: Light, malty aroma with a sweet fruity scent. Mostly pear and apple.
Taste: Big malty flavor with a light coating of fruitiness on top. The flavor is rich with cereal flavors like wheat, oats, and granola. Other flavors include hay, dry white grapes, and a very aromatic lavender.
Mouthfeel: Very refreshing. Medium bodied and comfortable on the palate.
Drinkability: Excellently smooth, well balanced and enjoyable. To me this beer tastes like a better version of the Bush Blonde that stands at 10%. At 7% this tastes like a more realistic and natural interpretation of the same beer. I tasted the two beers side by side and I definately prefer this Cuvée Des Trolls.

On draft at Café Hollander in Tosa, WI.
The beer is hazy and yellow with a half inch of pure white head. The aroma brings fruity esters, yeast, booze, grain. Notes of pineapple and grass with a mild but present alcohol. A tad sweet with a mild warmth in the finish. Light bitterness in the finish with lingering tropical fruits. This was pretty good.

Hazy yellow golden color with a thin aired head with short retention, but leaving some laces.
Initially malty aroma followed by notes of oranges, booze, pineapple and honey.
Flavor of booze, spicy yeast at the beginning of tasting, Cointreau liquor, hard center of a pineapple, yeast, some hay, pear, banana and a mild sourness. And some faint herbal hop around.
Light body with appropriate carbonation, alcohol is apparent but does not bother.
A decent ok beer, tasty and assertively light with a booze kick. Not bad, not extraordinary.
