Found in a grocery store in Belgium so it might not be in the States but it is readily available in Europe. However the bottle states on the back that the Bush Triple was created to celebrate the 75 year anniversary of the amber. The bottle is 75cl and is corked and caged. A best of date printed on the neck reads like tax forms, what I can make out for sure is the year 2011. The beer is amber in color and has a slightly chilled looking haze to it. Chunky sediment lives on the bottom of the bottle and can sneak in to your glass at anytime. There is a moderate off white head that isn't very impressive and has even less impressive retention.

The scent is a of sugary sweet breads. Nice and malty with an apricot plum like nose. There is a distinct alcohol scent but it doesn't deflect from the beer.

Taste is deep and rich and right inline with the nose. Heavy malts with caramel tendencies mixed with apricots. The finish is a candied flavor a slightly boozy burn.

Great feeling and superb drinkability. The beer is big bready with a subtle carbonation and a nice warming of the palate leading to a nice belly fire.

Bomber best before 2013.Pours cloudy golden, edges of amber, very much thick lace. The taste, with a smooth mouthfeel, is overiden with booze. A sweetish aftertaste, its better than vodka, but has much in common with it. Read on.The aroma is yeast, but mostly booze. Seems more like 20% plus, an entry into the big beers bragging rights. Alcohol warming of the tongue and cheeks. A quarter of the bomber, and then noone would share.

A big 750 mL bottle with a modern 'no label look' appearance.

A copper colored beer with no haze, the head is creamy and lacing.

Smell is strong malty with a woody timber smell. Together with the alcohol this has similarities with wiskey.

Taste is malty with strong biscuity and woody notes. Bitterness is high and is balanced by the high alcohol and accompanied body of this big beer. There is little hoppiness, only a clean bitter. The alcohol isn't even that strong, considering it being 12%. This beer has the typical taste of all Dubuisson beers, with it's fruity, earthy and woody profile.

From a corked 750 ml bottle that I bought in northern Italy, this beer is a golden amber color. White head with a little lace. Not bad. The aroma is of alcohol and a little malt. No hop smell. The taste is not dry, as I'd expect from a Triple. In fact, it's sugary and quite sweet. The alcohol is dominant, and very warming...borderline hot. The taste also, however, has some saving graces...a nice pale malt flavor and a pleasant yeast taste. Slightly fruity and very spicy. Full in body, and very carbonated. Enough bitterness for balance, but still no real hop presence. This one isn't a great triple, but it is an interesting and drinkable beer.

On tap at The Surly Goat in West Hollywood, CA.

Pours a murky light orange with a foamy beige head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, yeast, spice, and some fruity aromas. Taste is of much the same with an alcohol kick after each sip. There is a mild spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is pretty easy to drink due to its solid aromas and flavors.

Picked up on a recent trip to Brussels. The bartender had several bottles stashed away in the cellar and gave it to me for free!
A: amber, cloudy, pretty head dissipates quickly
S: fresh, inviting
T: slightly sweet, slightly hoppy
M: champagne-like, with a little sting from the 12 percent alcohol
D: I'm only halfway through the bottle and feeling its effects. If you're planning to drink it slowly it's highly drinkable!

A: Bloody bronze color with medium head.

S: Smell of alcohol has no shame in this beer. It will kick your right in the face with some fruity tones, watermelon and forest fruits.

T: Strong ABV makes it dance on your tongue. The fruity subtones appears to be similar to the wine taste.

M: Warm and complex body.

D: One of Belgium classics, I can't wait when I will open that bottle from my archive in few years!
