330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/25/2014. Pours deep orange amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense off white head with decent retention, that reduces to a spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big ripe peach, apricot, pineapple, citrus peel, pear, honey, candi sugar, herbal, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of sweet/ripe fruit, fruity/earthy yeast, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of ripe peach, apricot, pineapple, citrus zest, pear, honey, candi sugar, light pepper, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy yeast spice/fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of ripe peach, apricot, pineapple, citrus zest, honey, candi sugar, light pepper, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of ripe fruit sweetness, pale malt, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly syrupy mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian fruit beer. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of ripe fruit, fruity/earthy yeast, and pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
