Appearance: A slightly cloudy brown with a tinge of apricot orange hue small ivory head and spots of lace on my glass.
Smell: Light fruit in the nose with apricot pear, raisins and caramel malt, a splash of cinnamon bread and a hint of hops.
Taste: Soft caramel malt, dark fruit and bread with the alcohol showing through lightly. Apricot and fig with a breadyness and a hint of alcohol showing through and lingering on the cheeks.
Mouthfeel: Sweet medium body. Could use some more age to clear up the appearance and dry the mouth a bit.
Drinkability: This is an approachable quaffable dubbel.
Hope this is helpful.
Serving type: on-tap
