Pours yellow with a creamy white head. Head lingers well - shows finer carbonation. Smell is sweet - some banana, spices and orange and/or lemon peel. Taste is good - more banana and clove but has more alcohol presence than expected. Starts and finishes sweet. Again fine carbonation more present on the back end with the mouthfeel.

A very nice tripel on the sweeter, spicier side of the ledger. Cloudy gold with a small cap of white foam. Good retention and lacing. Strongly aromatic, lots of banana, spices, and dark fruits, malt and syrupy sugar. Flavor features banana prominently, more than you’d expect for the style, with raisin, plum, prune, spice, and a hit of booziness only emerging in the finish. Bigger bodied and smoother, with lower carbonation than is typical of the style. This perhaps detracts a bit from the overall experience, as there’s not a lively enough mouthfeel to cut through the formidable sweetness. Still, I enjoyed this one, perhaps in part because I’d taken a long break from tripels after drinking a ton of them a few years back.
On tap at Iron Hill Media.

pours a thicker looking golden color with not nearly enough head for a belgian. smells like fresh pears almost too much, and a mixture of other fruit, yeasty. taste very fruity, pears especially. nice and complex like a tripel should be. mouthfeel was a real problem for me. this should be a very lively beer with a big effervescent head and bright mouthfeel, but it felt flat and heavy to me and really turned me off. not their best work

Poured light golden, slightly hazy with a small white head. Bready and malty aroma, with floral and fruity notes. Light malts in the taste, sweet fruits and subtle spice. Yep, it's a tripel. Light to medium mouthfeel and pretty drinkable, though perhaps a little sweet for casual drinking.
