Attractive clear copper tinted amber, minimal head. Scent is deep and complex, strong hop profile, slightly muddled, from citrus to pine to earthy and grassy. Malt notes are fresh, clean malt, light caramel, light toast and earthy dried grain. Taste brings all components together nicely, slightly muddled again with varying styles of malts and hops, but works nicely - very earthy taste. Dry, light carbonation. Bold and complex, slightly muddled from many ingredients but works well, surprised at low ABVs for this one.

Uses 100 pounds each of Maris Otter, Harrington, Pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Rye, Wheat, and Carahell malts and 100 pounds of corn. Bittered with 100 BUs worth of Centennial hops and finished with 100 ounces of Centennial.
A: A sunset orange color displayed a good amount of clarity and a frothy chalky white head, 1 finger high, that was moderately lasting. Decent stickage occurs despite the small head statue that leaves a thick milky band. Visible carbonation was extremely soft, almost cask-like.
S: On the nose was a modest show of piney citrus hops and orange skins. A good deal of grainy sweetness, lightly toasted, also balances well here.
T: Dry grainy sweetness with a good deal of toasted character opens things up flavor wise. The centennial hops come through quite nicely producing a nice level of bittering flowery citrus. There is a good deal of alcohol as well a bittering hop bite of pine juice and grated grapefruit that mixes well together delivering a twang of spiciness and hop dryness. The palate is dry, and perhaps offers the most bitterness ive experienced by this brewery to date. A good show of dry kettle hops occurs on the knockout.
M: Medium full body, offering quite a bit of resistance turning creamy and bubbly when swirled around. Moderately dry show of pine hop lacing graces the tongue.
D: A dry hopped and fairly bitter experiences that pushes the envelope thus far from this brewery. Definitely the hoppiest ive had by them and I would have no trouble having a second or third helping of this, was just that good. growler worthy, get it while it lasts.
