Had their Black IPA at the North Wales restaraunt and was pretty good. Came out very dark with a small but dense head with lacing crawling up the side.
Aroma was sutle hops and roasted malts also rather sutle. Tasted fine with a real nice roasted malt and citrus taste. Drink on the heavy side of medium smooth with a semi bitter finish. Easy drinking and pleasing.

On tap at Iron Hill North Wales, PA.
Served in a pint glass...
A - jet black with a 1 finger mocha head brought out to me. The head was unbelievably thick with amazing lacing that coated the entire glass. Wow...
S - Pine, grapefruit, huge hop presence and some roasted malts.
T - first sip I am greeted with grapefruits and hops, all very fresh. The roasted malts come into play very well just when the beer starts to warm and takes away the extra twang, otherwise this beer would be a punch to the tongue. Overall though, I think the malts used are just a tad too big for the beer as it takes away from the IPA quality and leans more toward a porter.
M - bordering medium/heavy with a nice amount of carbonation. Very silky finish. I like my IPA's thicker so in my tastes, very good for the style.
D - this is a very, very good beer and I was surprised to see it on the menu. This beer is extremely filling and I don't see too many people putting away beyond 32 ounces. A very nice take on the style though and a must try for fans.
