A: Dark opaque brown with tan sticky lacing.
S: Roasted malt. Coffee but mostly chocolate.
T: Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Rich roasted flavor. Lots of chocolate. This is really good.
M: Full bodied with soft carbonation. Thick and creamy and warm.
O: Wonderful for the cold winter months. So rich and warm. Must have this again.

This is a great beer. And it's just dying to be aged out. Great malt tones, nice chocolate, very mild roasted tones. Extremely thick, but not obnoxiously so. Great feel. This is really a spectacular beer. Hits exactly what an ris should be. I wouldn't mind having more of this to age.
