Cask offering served in a wine glass. The brew appears a hazed brown color with copper noted around the edges. A rich brown froth displays a stunning appearance from the hand pump delivery. It holds to the last sip and produces patches of lace around the glass.

The aroma is malty sweet with a mild candy essence. It displays a spiciness almost like cinnamon and brown sugar with more malty character like toffee and molasses as the glass is swirled and smelled more.

The flavor is toasty with bready malt with a contrasting herbal hop feel. A bit of spice like previously mentioned in the aroma tasting slightly like cinnamon and brown sugar but without the residual sweetness. A bit of green yeastiness gets progressively pronounced as it warms up with a bit of veggy aspect that while not super offensive isnt enticing either.

This is a medium bodied brew with a light amount of carbonation. It is smooth and easy drinking and overall nicely done. The malt and mild yeastiness is the star of the show but enough hop bitterness keeps things in check. This is worth checking out.
