12 oz bottle poured in into a standard pint glass. Nice light honey color, very clear. An aggressive pour yields a 1 finger bone-white head.

Smells very clean, actually. Lightly sweet with faint grass and fruit (not banana) notes. It reminds me a little of the smell of agave syrup.

More of the same when the liquid meets the palate. This is basically one dimensional....slight sweet and grassy, and little bit of earthy hop kick trying to be found. I wonder is Bayern, which specializes in lagers, use a lager yeast for this. It certainly feels very lager-ish.

Mouthfeel is understandably thin, with only modest carbonation.

If you're into summer beers or golden ales this will likely appeal to you more than it does to me on a 36F degree night with high winds and stinging rain. It's definately a summer beer, but not one I will be seeking out when the days get longer.

Purchased as part of a variety 12-pack for $13.99 at a convenience store. Interesting label art, as usual, but I wish the brewery would indicate the style of beer. A moderate pour produces about 1/2 inch of bubbly white head, which dissipates really quickly, leaving no lace on the sides. The lightly carbonated brew is a pale honey-amber color.

I detect a fruity aroma, with a kiss of floral hops. A fruity-honey and spicy taste is quite noticeable and reminds me a little of mead. Undertones of melon and maybe a slight bit of banana are apparent. Just a touch of bitterness on the palate. The mouthfeel is rather thin but the beer is pretty refreshing.
