Poured from can into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a hazy golden-orange color with a billowy white head of foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time to leave a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather large of a wheat bread smell mixed with some orange and harvest fruits. Along with these smells comes a bit of hay and yeast as well.

Taste- The biggest taste of the brew is that of a wheaty flavor mixed with a decent sum of some cracker tastes. While the nose is a little sweeter, there is only a light fruity taste in the brew, with it overall being on the slightly drier but grainy side. With some light yeast and herbal flavors that come at the end, one is left with a slightly drier and wheaty taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – For a brew of only 5.3 % abv the feel is on the thicker side with a carbonation level that is rather lower. For the wheaty flavors of the brew the feel is very fitting and makes for a good chewy feel.

Overall – A fairly nice brew overall. Flavorful and thick without being all that high in abv or too sweet.

Backlog. 12 oz bottle. Aroma is of cardboard; smells like a macro. Color is deep golden, little head, slight lacing. Tastes like a tame hefeweizen. Banana esters, wheat are dominant flavors.

Clear copper pour with moderate head and little lacing.

It's a rather fluffy brew; light hop bitterness with some apples and malt sweetness. Very well balanced!

Quite good.

Another under appreciated from a small Montana brewery here. Not sure it fits the style guidelines it's listed under here, not much German about it and the yeast isn't right for that, but I love it just the same. It has a great nose and taste, fairly sweet and rich, yet clean and dynamic with what appears to be a wheat malt base and a nice clean light clave punctuated by effervescent carbonation and a bright almost Belgian fruitiness. Pears and yeast in the finish either a little residual sugar. Creamy texture and a bubble feel. Better than anything I have had from these guys so far.

Bottle label data: Best Before O (October) 14. Also, ABV is listed as 5.3% on the brewery's web site.

Nice, golden yellow body, lots of slowly rising carbonation bubbles, and a one-finger thick, white head. Aroma presents toasted cereal grains. Flavor mirrors the aroma for the most part with a mild fruitiness; hop bitterness is present but stays pretty much in the background. Medium bodied; some residual sugars present; kind of flat despite carbonation presence; semi-dry finish.

A so-so beer that tastes okay but lacks defining weizen beer character. The honey-like sweetness is at the fore yet there is little, if any, banana or clove-like presence. Uninspiring...
