Elegant and balanced. Ramstein Amber Lager has a rich malty aroma, a smooth toasty palate, and a fresh noble hop character. The richness and spiciness of our Amber Lager makes it a delicious accompaniment to a variety of foods. Ramstein Northern Hills Amber Lager is a great beer for any festive occasion.

A: The beer is clear amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high beige head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet malts are present in the nose. There is also an unusual aroma that I can't quite put a finger on.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is rather malty and has some sweetness. The unusual aroma in the smell is also present in the taste.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little clean on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is nice and malty but the unusual smell and taste is somewhat detracting.

Ramstein Amber Lager pours a crystal clear golden amber/brown color with a moderate/small light beige head with okay retention. Leaves minimal lacing. Smell is light and consists of a bit of wheat/bready malt and floral hops.

Taste starts with bread and caramel malt, then wheat and floral hops. Has a bready, slightly sweet, floral aftertaste that lingers nicely. Mouthfeel is a touch on the light side with above average carbonation for an amber lager, these characteristics go well with the flavors in the beer, making a tasty, light, drinkable beer. (554 characters)
