A - Sniftered. Giant, frothy tan head with a black coffee body. Head just doesn't go away. Major lacing.
S - Muted caramel malts, chocolate undertones, muted citrus hops.
T - Bittersweet chocolate, caramel, huge on the roasted side. Sweetness balanced by roast and piney hop character on the backend. Finishes quite dry.
M - A little too crisp for a RIS, but for a "black stout", it works. Could stand less carbonation and a heavier body imo.
D - Not the most drinkable brew ever but for being a big black stout, it's nice. The 8.1% isn't noted in the taste at all.
