Excellent beer, Very crystal clear with color of copper to red with tight white head. Nice hop aroma, piney citrus with a slight hint of white pepper.Good caramel malt flavor slight toffe notes with perfect hop balance.Finishes clean and dry with medium mouthfeel.

Appearance This one is a beautiful, dark orange in color with a moderate but retentive head.
Smell There is some light grain to this nose along with a bit of citrus hops. I can also pick up some caramel notes. The overall nose is balanced with a bit of emphasis on the malts but very subtle, which is typical of the style.
Taste This ale picks things up at the taste just as the style demands. The malts are big and soaked in caramel. The citrus hops are here from the nose but they are definitely in the background.
Mouthfeel This medium-bodied American Amber Ale is big and chewy with a good balance.
Drinkability This big, satisfying ale was my favorite of the Bear Republics that I tasted at the pub on this visit.
