Had on tap at the Public House in San Francisco.

This was interesting and tasty.

Pours an amber color with a pretty nice white head.

Aromas are fruity and resin like, some mango, and malty sugars.

Taste is full flavored, some sweet caramel and bready malt flavors, hints of brewed tea, and then some interesting fruits, tastes like melons and and citrus. Finish is resiny, earthy, and kind of sticky.

Mouthfeel is quite good. Full body, nice carbonation, but not heavy.

Overall, I enjoyed this amber. Very unique and interesting, I'd order this again if I am lucky enough to see it..

Had on-tap at Sunswick 35/35 in Astoria, NY on 5/22/11.

Reviewed from notes.

A - This beer pours a nice dark amber color. It has a small off-white head on it. The head has pretty good retention, and leaves some lace behind on the glass.

S - It smells of sweet toasted malts and fruit up front. There is a nice hop presence, but not a ton. There are some notes of caramel and toffee as well.

T - The taste starts off with sweet toasted malts and a nice tropical and dark fruit presence. There is a nice hoppy bitterness that comes into play, and I'm also getting flavors of toffee, caramel, and pine. The aftertaste has some lingering hop bitterness and fruit notes.

M - This has a medium to full body and good carbonation. It goes down smooth, and has a smooth creamy feel to it. There is some sweetness and some hop bitterness that sticks to the palate.

O - This has good drinkability. The flavor is great, and I definitely never got sick of drinking it. Overall, I think it is a great beer, and I'd love to have it again. This is probably one of the best Amber ales I've had so far.

Consumed on-tap at The Hopyard in Pleasanton. On to the beer:

Endo 10 features an orange amber color with a patchy head. Head retention is acceptable, some dotted lace sticks around. The nose is a festival of mango and canteloupe aromas, a surprising breakaway from the grapefruit and resin I was expecting given Bear Republic's portfolio.

Taste is unique and delicious. Major canteloupe and melon at first. Mango notes echo around throughout. Notes of sugar cookies and fruit snacks make way into the porfile. Drying toffee crisp and pine round it out. A hearty beer, you could skip lunch and replace it with a couple pints of Echo 10.

Where did this come from? Bear Republic makes some good stuff, but this could be my new favorite from the folks of Healdsburg.
