Poured from a bottle into my new Belgium glass.

Appearance - dark brown color with a reddish tint. No head whatsoever. Makes me sad.

Smell - very nice. Sweet yeasty, breast smell. I could smell this in a bakery and purchase a loaf.

Taste - very similar to the smell. I enjoy the taste quite a bit. Yeasty and Brady once more.

Mouthfeel - average

Overall - a nice offering from this small brewery in Ny. Their stout is AMAZING!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle, served in a pilsener glass.

A- Pours a clear brown with some red hues, capped by a half finger tan head that quickly disappears.

S- The smell is really subdued, but mostly sweet caramel and just a hint of hops. Maybe some raisins, but it's hard to tell.

T- The taste is quite rich and complex. Slightly sweet dark fruit and a ton of faint complexities that I just can't quite put my finger on. Although this is not my favorite beer, I can respect it as a fairly good representation of the style.

M- Medium feel and a moderate amount of carbonation. Creamy and a tad prickly.

O- Although it is nothing groundbreaking, I'm certainly not opposed to drinking one of these in the future.

A - A fairly dark caramel brown with just a 1/4 inch of head that reduces to just a mild sticky lace ring.

S - Smells of mostly caramel and raisin with mild fruity notes not bad.

T - A very tasty dopplebock with zippy caramel, raisin, and plum taste. I don't get much baked rum bread flavor so this is just and average entry to the style.

M - Medium kind of chewy pretty close to on style.

Overall I like this beer but not only can I not get it again but I find better styles of it.

A-pours a nice deep amber with an off white head with average retention
S-caramel/toffee, no hop aroma
T-More of the toffee flavor, hops provide a nice balance but doesn't contribute to the flavor
M-medium bodied
O-not a bad brew, had better representations of the style

Deep brown orange color, basic carbonation, malt, raspberry, and chocolate on the nose, fruity start, nice malty mid pallet, some yeast towards the finish, as well some of the fruitiness is on the finish as well.

Overall; Drinkable dopplebock, not as heavy as most, but a good brew.
