The restaurant is not that large as most of the reviewers have pointed out. The beer selection changes frequently, having several micros and NC beers to choose from and the always present Guiness, Bass, and Blue Moon. Keep and eye out for the daily specials. I was surprised this past Monday to find $1.50 pints on all domestics. Yes, all beers from the US. They are having a keep your glass promotion on Thurs in March...Food is great. Sandwiches (Roast Beef and Gorgonzola is my fav) and of course any of their pizzas are fantastic.

Was not going to stop here, the area looked to uppity for my blue collar butt but sure am glad I did. A medium sized place, dining area in the front as you enter. Definitely a family oriented place. The bar is midway through the building with the kitchen and wood fired oven in the back. 20 or so taps, they switch them out quite frequently, no BMC. The pizzas looked and smelled great, many different gourmet pizzas to choose from. The current line up included NC micros, some Southern micros, National micros and a few imports. Definitely a style for anyone. The featured tap on this visit was Oskar Blues Old Chub.

I stopped here while in town on business. There were ~20 taps, including maybe 5 NC craft beers (Kashmir IPA, Red Oak German Lager, and 3 others) along with some larger American craft beers (Sam Adams, Rogue, others) and Blue Moon. Not fantastic, but definitely good for a pizza place. Prices are reasonable, about $3.50 per pint or $4 for a sample platter of 3 beers. The pizzas are really good so this is a good stop for food. But if you're only looking for beer go to the flying saucer or Tyler's Tap Room.

I go here on Monday nights for the $1.50 domestic specials ("domestic" here actually meaning anything brewed in the USA, not just BMC products). Its a fairly small room, colorful post-modernish interior, with a bar in the back. A couple of small tvs hang on the back wall. They have 20 taps or so, all of good quality, about five of them being local brews. Service is very friendly (at least on Mondays) and the guy who I always see seems to have a taste for craft beer. Most of the time, the glass is filled to the rim, and the only glassware is a shaker pint, but this isn't really a place completely devoted to beer. I haven't tried the food yet, but I will in the future as it smells really good and the prices seem reasonable.

This place happens to be my Karate classes favorite place to go for pizza and beer after class and on occassion. The place is somewhere you could take your family for some pretty good gourmet pizza--not the place to go for delicious greasy pizza though. Very clean and fast service. Ample seating inside and some patio seating outside for nice weather days. The beer selection was pretty decent with maybe 15 to choose from though I didn't exactly count. Service is typical of what you would expect from a restaurant which is good for the food and okay for the beer, but the menu describes all of the beers pretty well. Prices are good on the food to less than I'd expect. Beer prices are about what I'd expect with some specials that are better than reasonable.

I first went to brixx because I saw it had some decent pint specials. So I went to check the place out, I found a good place to get a pint and pizza from time to time. The taps are good beers (rogue, mash house, brooklyn, etc). I enjoy going to brixx on a night when they have pint specials. They have not been crowded when I have visted. The pizza's that I have had here were not of your normal vareity but very tastey.
The service is prompt but the servers are not very knowledgeable of about beers. I really enjoy the atmosphere of brixx along with the look of the interior.
