A - nice frothy top, some lacing, dissapates quickly

S - fruity, sweet corn, light and airy

T&M - Well balanced, sweet and somewhat buttery up front, with a slight hop bite on the finish. Feel is appropriate for the style and is not too thin.

D - more than a few

I've had this beer from tap, bottle, and can and I would recommend avoiding the bottle experience. Stick to a draft or find a can 4pk and a pint glass to go with it. Nothing really unique here, but it is a solid beer and a easy drinker.

Thin, yellow, no head to speak of. But this beer has a little more hoppiness and flavor than your average pilsner. I like the dry finish and the hop element. Also like that this is more full-bodied than other pilsners. But at the end of the day, it's still a pilsner, but you could do worse (or better--like, IMHO, Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner). I found this beer drinkable but not particularly enjoyable--I prefer something with more flavor and/or complexity.

Found these cheap, 4.99 for four pints. If I can keep getting it at this price, this will be my go to beer. I drank this through a keg and didn't enjoy it as much as I do now. I would compare this to Konig pilsner, although Konig is much better, this is trying to keep pace. Nice cool refreshing beer. Smell some vanilla, grass, almost candy like. Beer changes in smell as it warms for the better. More of a hop odor to it.Very nice carbonation and straw like color. Lacing in the glass is prevalent and stays. Head created was thick and soapy. Great beer, great price, go for it!

Appearance: Transparent straw yellow color. Half of head on the pour. Average active carbonation for the style. Some sticky lacing left behind at each level.

Smell: Easy front of pleasant prairie grass, cloves, and some banana. Earthy grounded pils malt body. Light fruity hop tones round out the aroma.

Taste: The palate is greeted by some buttery yeast tones. The malt body is filled with heavy nutty tones, earthy grains, corn, and prairie grass. Dry straw meshes with some hop fruitiness on the back end.

Mouthfeel: Light sweet front which transitions into a progressively building dry grainy finish. Carbonation is bright and contributes to the lingering dryness on the palate.

Overall: Solid german pilsner top to bottom. The taste is a bit of a different animal then I expected from the aroma but doesn't subtract from the overall enjoyability of this brew. Certainly something that any BA should try out especially for <$10 a sixer.

16.9 oz can into a pint glass.

A: Pours a golden straw color. The head is about a finger high and completely white in shade. It has decent retention for the style, too. A nice ring of lacing is left behind on the glass.

S: There's a good amount of noble hoppiness here, and while it's a bit sulfury, it stop short of being 'skunky'. I'm also getting hints of malt sweetness and butter. Very straightforward, but it works decently.

T: Again, this is a simplistic and straightforward beer. A touch of crackery malts hit the palate at first, before some earthen noble hops finish it off. It is what it is - not very interesting, but easily drunk and devoid of off notes.

M: Vibrantly carbonated and light on the palate, while a touch of lingering sweetness helps to keep it balance. One could chug this if so inclined.

O: If this is the German equivalent of Budweiser, I now know why ze Germans denigrate our macro lagers - this shits all over most of the BMC crew from a great height. No, it's not interesting or great, but it will get you by in a pinch. Good for parties, fishing, or any other activity that benefits from shutting your brain off.

A: poured from a 500 ml can into a pint glass, straw colored with a large foamy white head lat lingers leaving some lacing, clear

S: slightly sweet, pale malt, grassy, grain, slight mineral water

T: slightly sweet up front, cereal grain, biscuit, slight grassy peppery hops at the finish

M: light with high carbonation, clean palate

O: OK mass produced pilsner, not stellar but quite easy to drink and refreshing, serve cold
