Bought as part of a 4 pack of 500ml cans from Beers of the World on 7/27/13.
Poured into a large Pilsener glass served cold.
appearance: light gold with a towering white head. Lack of strong lacing is disappointing.
aroma: classic noble hops overlay the pilsner malt. lovely.
mouthfeel: soft but full
taste: this is a strongly hopped version of the style. malt brings up the rear solidly.
notes: a well crafted example of a very familiar style.

Pale straw colour. More pale than most lagers. Very large amount of bubbles streaming up the tall pilsner glass. An ok head and good lacing left sticking to the sides to the end of the drink.
Lovely herbal hop aroma. Sweet and leafy smelling.
The taste, as with the aroma, is of herbal hops with and is very delicate and pleasant. The finish is very dry with a lingering bitterness at the end of the sip.
There is a great mineral water mouthfeel with light carbonation.
Overall this is a superb German pilsener. Ticks all the boxes for the style and is characterful enough to be considered interesting as well as thirst quenching.
My mark out of one hundred would 87.

Appearance: Light straw. Good carbonation. Decent head that goes away rather quickly.
Smell: Light malt, light hops, and just the slightest hint of skunkiness.
Taste: Malt with a nice touch of bitterness from the hops on the finish. There is a flavor there that I can't quite place, but I find it rather appealing. Nothing off-putting.
Mouthfeel: Clean. Crisp. On the light side of medium bodied.
Overall: An enjoyable beer that is perfect for warmer temperatures. One that I would definitely buy again.
