Now, I just brushed my teeth and gargled with Scope so my taste buds may be a bit compromised tonight.
Bitburger is nicely balanced and tastes wonderful - a touch dry in the foreground and a wee bit sweet in the background.
A generous head is formed from the pour and gradually relaxes to a thin covering; lace forms down the glass.
I suspect this would make a nice session beer.
A good find and I'll be sure to try it again when the pickings get thin at the local LCBO.

Pours a clear straw with plenty of effervescence. There is not quite a finger of head and it dissipates into nothingness very quickly. The nose has the distinct notes of pilsner malt. The flavor profile follows the nose. The body is light and the finish is clean, crisp, dry and bitter.
This is an enjoyable brew but not quite among the best of this style.

Pale straw colour. More pale than most lagers. Very large amount of bubbles streaming up the tall pilsner glass. An ok head and good lacing left sticking to the sides to the end of the drink.
Lovely herbal hop aroma. Sweet and leafy smelling.
The taste, as with the aroma, is of herbal hops with and is very delicate and pleasant. The finish is very dry with a lingering bitterness at the end of the sip.
There is a great mineral water mouthfeel with light carbonation.
Overall this is a superb German pilsener. Ticks all the boxes for the style and is characterful enough to be considered interesting as well as thirst quenching.
My mark out of one hundred would 87.
