Came in a standard bottle with a nice gold foil covering the neck and cap.
The amber colouration was excellent, one of the best pale's I have ever seen. But that is about as far as I am willing to consider this beer henceforth!

The smell was off-nose, slightly metallic. This was confirmed by the horrendous aluminum mouthfeel and taste of this pale. I was not impressed by the feel of this pale; as compared to others I have had the pleasure, and thats very true, of consuming.

If it weren't for the overall appearance of this brew, I would never hve given this beer as high as I have given it!! Period!!

Had this on tap at a place in Niagra on the Lake, pours a lighter golden with not much head to speak of,aromas of caramel and some biscuit malt not much noticable hop aroma.Taste is malt tilted with a caramel sweetness and biscuity flavor up fron the a light piney note definently coming in the aftertaste and well some burps afterwards, pretty tasty brew more for the malt mavens out there.Glad I got a chance to try this not a world beater but quite drinkable.

Better than average looking medium yellow with creamy head. some citrus taste perhaps from yeast and malt, hop punch, solid carbonation attacks tongue and stays there for aftertaste. I agree, Niagara's 2nd best. Better than a national brand. Floral aroma.

Niagara Bottle: Poured a very light brown ale with nice head with good retention. Aroma is a mix between floral hops and strong malt. Taste is very similar to your average APA but with less sweetness and a bit more bitterness at the end. I was quite surprise since I was expecting a boring macro pale ale but nothing as good as this. Looking back at some other rating, I’m now wondering if my taste buds were out yesterday or if they change their recipe.

Poured a orange/copper colour. Head was disappointing. No retention. Aroma of floral hops, fruity. Light bodied, smooth and bready. Bitter after taste, dry finish. Some apricot flavour.

Bought it straight from the brewery. Talked to them, and for financial reasons, they've cut most of their more interesting beers (maple wheat, apple ale etc) and now are left with the 'safe' stuff that'll sell at the LCBO. Kinda sad.

A - Light gold colour, with some nice head and but little visible carbonation.
S - Not much to speak of here, but some slight hint of hops and some citrus.
T - A coppery taste of metal with some light hoppiness and some sweeter citrus. Watery and only slightly bitter. The taste of dirty old pennies is prominent, but even that it bland.
M - Decent enough, but too thin.
D - Watery and bland enough to session with, but not as refreshing as most more-hoppier APAs.

I had this at the Moffat Inn/Tetley's Pub in Niagara-on-the-lake.

A: Light amber, with a decent amount of fluffy, off-white head.

S: Some fruitiness like a British yeast, with a little hop citrous.

T: Fruity ale yeast, Goldings hops, grainy malt.

M: Light to moderate body, moderate carbonation.

D: Quite drinkable, perhaps a good cross-over beer.

Pours a oraney-gold with a smallish head that reduces to a fine lace that stays the drink. Lightly carbonated. Aromas of sweet tangerines and pine with cooked grains. Started peppery sharp and tart but mellowed to a sweetish meduim body accented by some citrus hop balance then the finish i s dry and tart....not a bad Pale and very well put together but nothing really stands out....Mind you I’d never turn one of these down for a Sleemans.

Apparently the Niagara Brewing Company is out of business, and the premises has been purchased by moosehead... Sad really, how much macro lager do we need in Southern Ontario?

This Pale ale pours a light amber color with a big billowy head that really sticks around. Theres plenty of lace left behind. The aroma is very fruity, with apricot being the most identifiable. Theres also a diacytel butter and grainyness in the nose, as well as some floral hops. The taste is very malty and grainy with fruity notes and a bit of hop bitterness. Grapefruit, tangerine, apricot and lychee are the fruits I taste. This beer could definitely do with some more hoppiness and dryness. The mouthfeel is somewhat thick for a pale ale. This beer is very drinkable. Though its a bit too fruity, it doesnt have any truly offensive characteristics.

Medium to dark amber colour with good clarity. Long-lasting white head aided by high carbonation. Very malty aroma combined with floral/citrus hoppiness and green apple fruitiness. The aromas tend to carry over to the flavour, with maltiness dominating, closely followed by bitterness. Some grain character is present as well. Medium body, decent smoothness with a moderately dry finish.

My favourite type of beer is pale ale, but this was surprisingly wrong tasting. It tastes like tea; diluted tea, and thats also what greeted my nose when I first opened the bottle. I won't recommend this one and certainly will not purchase it again.

One might say it pales in comparison to other pale ales.

The Niagara Falls Brewing Company was bought out by Moosehead.

The aroma gave hints of pine, balanced with some toasted malt.

It looked like it was a red-ish copper colour. Ok head to start, but faded quickly. Left some lace.

Flavour was nice. They balanced the hop and malt flavours pretty well. A little bit of citrus was detected on the palate. It ends with a touch of sweetness.

Mouthfeel was good, I'd say that it was light to medium bodied. Fairly crisp though.

Overall, I like it and I'll drink it again.

This beer is a dark amber color with a medium thin light beige head and decent lacing. The aroma is a little fruity (sour apple) with a pinch of hops. Medium-bodied and tart, with flavors of malt, molasses and sour fruit. Very little hops in the flavor or finish. As for the finish it is lightly bitter and short. Overall this beer is not very impressive.

Seems like a bit above average of a common style. Nothing stands out especially, good or bad. I thought it looked a little more pale than the average - clear light copper. Hints of toasted grain, and fruitiness in the nose. A bit of asparagus as well. Bitterness on the tongue immediately. Grainy, lemony notes as well. Aftertaste was a mild lingering bitterness. The carbonation was a bit too hard for my taste, but the mouthfeel was had a solid fullness. Not a bad brew.
