Our salute to Belgian style fruit Lambic beers, with a distinctly Californian twist. We add select parts of whole oranges at precisely the right point to our amber recipe beer, and the result is this magical, orange sweet beer we call Orange Blossom Amber. This brew is crafted with only natural ingredients, specially malted barley, our proprietary yeast strain, and pure spring water from our historic Indian Wells Spring.

A- Orange with a very small white head that dissipates quickly.
S- Smells just like oranges. Real, not fake. I'm impressed at just how fragrant it is.
T- Tastes like Orange Crush. Almost like a shandy. I think it's quite good, just wish the beer-y qualities would leak through a bit more.
M- Sorely lacking in body. This is its one major shortfall
D- I could drink the s**t out of this beer. Considering where it's brewed- the middle of the desert, it is very apropo.

Pours a Light to medium brown...
Aromas is all orange with a malty background...
Flavor brings out more of the malt and caramel great for a brown ale, and finishes strong with orange pith and sweetness
the mouthfeel is oily and slick for a light ABV beer
overall I would drink this again, I used to see it around in six packs, but recently they are selling this are the brewery in bombers...cheers

Poured into BarrelHouse Brewing pint glass
A: Pours like a hazy orange soda orange with a moderate amount of head that lingers.
S: Artificial smelling orange with a little sweetness behind it.
T: Orange of some sort, some sweetness, but that's about it. No hops whatsoever. Bottle claims it is brewed with orange peel and I get a little of that, but it more tastes like an off brand sports drink.
M: Pretty light, moderate carbonation that is very welcome so it doesn't feel like you're drinking a flat soda.
O: Despite the claim of using only honest ingredients this one comes off as massively artificial and more like they couldn't decide if they were making beer or soda, so they did both, at once, poorly.

Appearance: Hazy amber in color, with a small off-white head, scattered thin lacing, and slight carbonation.
Aroma: Understated aroma of caramel malt and artificial orange, somewhat like a sports drink.
Taste: Opens with modest caramel malt and a Gatorade(tm)-like orange flavor. As the taste progresses, the orange flavor rises a bit, and loses none of its artificial character, managing to overshadow the caramel malt. Finishes with a slight herbal hop presence and a strong artificial orange flavor.
Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, a bit thin, with just a hint of carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A rather mediocre example, which could have been far better, with more natural orange flavor and a more substantial malt profile.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce brown glass bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

Bottle pour at Field Of Drafts held at The Hanger in Lancaster, CA.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, orange sports drink, and orange soda aromas. Taste is much the same with orange soda flavors on the finish. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a poor beer that is much more like an orange soda than real beer.
