Our flagship. This is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean, and crisp with lots of late hop taste, in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast. Original gravity - 1047; two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt. Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

Clear orange/amber with a light beige cap, good head retention, a bit of spotty lace. Earthy aroma, caramel and malt, slightly fruity, light citrus and grassy hops, quite English in character. Solid bitterness, a bit juicy up front, fruity with some caramel sweetness. Slight herbal hop flavour. Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation, decent texture. I really liked the flavours in this, more bitterness than an English pale ale but with a lot of the character.

A pale ale classic for 40 years? from Maine/New England's first craft brewery. An easygoing, tho' complex and fairly substantial balance of malts and hops. True to the style.

A bottle poured into a pint glass (from a bom club). Look had a dense and fine 1/2" off-white foam head with a clear amber (slightly on the lighter amber) body. Scent has a malty sweetness to it with some secondary herbal/floral hops. Taste is much more expected for this variety; more of a biscuity malt and a much stronger herbal bitterness from the hops. Feel is on the medium side with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Pretty well hits the EPA style -- unfortunately just not one I'm a huge fan of.

Dark golden amber, floral, clean smell, light carbonation, nice lasting head. Slightly sweet, hoppy taste, lasting hints of bubblegum(?). Delicious, would pair well with seafood, not too hoppy.

Pours a pale amber with a cream colored head that leaves some nice lace.
Biscuit malt and piney herbal floral hops.
Taste follows nose with a highly carbonated lively mouthfeel.

i don't like IPA's...but this one , i can taste the wheat in it, underneath the bitter...and it's more like orange peel, than grapefruit
