Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light reddish brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, honey, some fruit and some hops.

T: The taste starts out with a hearty malt character followed by sweet flavors of caramel, honey, fruit and nuts. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to pound down for a long time if you’re in the mood for that style.

Into a pint glass:

A: solid red colored body that gives a nice one finger white foamy head that gently dies into the body within a minute. Lacing spider webs down the pint glass. The body is too dark for any carbonation to be seen rising.

S: malty with caramel notes up front and some corn and grains slightly in the back.

T: the same as the smell and finishes with a dry caramel taste.

M: light to medium with a dry aftertaste and nothing harsh on the tongue. I would say this is a mostly drinkable beer, low ABV helps.

O: this is a solid Irish Red that is satisfying and am glad Geary's brought this back (though limited, I'm glad I picked up a sixer of this).

A: Pours a solid red/amber color with a fingers worth of off-white head

S: Nice and malty, with light cereal grains and a touch of earthy hops

T: Follows the nose, nice and hearty for the 4.8% with a touch of sweetness and earthy hops. Finishes with mostly a barley influence

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A little drying from the barley, also with a softer feel

O: A solid Irish Red that is satisfying and easy to drink. I'm sure this won't get around much, and probably won't make it out of Maine, but it is definitely worth trying if you come across it

Served in a pint glass at the Great Lost Bear. A thick foamy tan head rests atop a reddish copper body. Good, even lacing is left behind.

Toasted caramel malts make up a majority of the aroma, but there are a few grassy hops mixed in.

The beer is lightly sweet, with plenty of caramel malts and some other toasted flavors. Finnish is dry and earthy, with a slight sweetness that lingers.

Medium body with average carbonation. A little bit of coating has a decent amount of flavor.

This is an enjoyable anniversary offering. I think it stands up to Geary's regular offerings; it's too bad it probably won't be brewed again.

Serving type: on-tap
