not much going on here, not a bad lager mind, nice clear mahogany colour with a creamy off white head with good retention, nose is brown bread all the way, some biscuit, some caramel, flavour profile is much the same, rye bread, brown bread, caramel, reasonably sweet, biscuit, a light floral character and light bitterness, it has a light body with medium to high carbonation, very drinkable, grand

Received as a welcome gift when I arrived to Germany. 3 bottles in a lederhosen. Way to cool. Let’s give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a big pop from the ceramic flip top and a not to much smell. Pours to a root beer color with a huge head. Taste is a nice caramel not bitter but not sweet. Carbonation is light and mouthfeel is a bit weak. Lots of bells and whistles but what counts is what is inside the bottle.

Dark amber color with beige head. Dark bread and caramel on the aroma with some spicy, woody notes. Taste follows with dark bread, rye, some honey and burnt sugar. Easy drinking with nice flavors.

Pours a clear copper color with a medium top of white head that dissolves quickly.
Aroma is of bread, caramel, raisins, nuts and some herbs.
The taste is sweet with toasted bready caramel notes in the back. It then gets some slight herbal notes in the flavour before finishing of with some slight bitterness. Medium carbonation with a medium body and clean and smooth mouthfeel.
A good and easy drinking dunkel lager.

A little sweet, but still good with appropriate food. It was a great companion to Potatoes au gratin and a slice of ham/gammon.
I suggest you finish the glass before it reaches room temperature.
Not a hugely impressive smell.
Fairly dark color, towards brown rather than red.

From Hipercor. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing Draw Slasher. Sweet and highly drinkable, with some notes to raisins. Light body but pleasant feel and correctly hopped to compensate sweetness. Avg 3.51
15 Dic 2018. De Hipercor. En copa de hefe de Bavaria. En almuerzo, tras partido de futbito. Con sopa de arroz + pollo guisado. 11 meses tras consume preferente.
