Had a liter while on a train touring vacation in April 2010 during a Napolean invasion reanactment festival.
This is a beautifully poured pilsner that shows some red tint along with the glimmering golden color that is extremely easy on the eyes. This beer just begs for you to drink, not sip.
Light, tangy, wet and very drinkable. Perfect example of the good life in souther Germany.

(Reviewed from notes while in Germany 5-4-08) This beer poured a nice golden color, mostly transparent, decent 1 in head with lacing once settled. This beer has faint smell of malt and a decent floral of hops. Of the beers tasted at the Spital beer garden this was the most refreshing. It was clean, crisp, went down very smooth and was very balanced. Best to get on a warm day while sitting outside over looking the Danube River!
