The colour is dark copper - brown (37 EBC). The firm three finger head is beige, it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.

The smell is dry and a little roasted. Dry notes of metal/blood. Some soap, hay and a touch of rye bread.

The taste got some roasted dry notes, wheat flour, caramelized sugar and some dough. Hints of cinnamon and juniper twigs. There is a frowsy, tired flavour of porridge that makes me think of aged malt. There is a metallic iron flavour that comes with the neutral low bitterness. Medium body. The aftertaste is quite mild with some sweetness and hints of roasted malt.
The carbonation is mild, small smooth bubbles. The liquid is a little sticky.

Quite a tired and unbalanced beer.
