I have always had a great time in the small wine store. though they only have ever had one person working there, he has always been kind, courteous, and extremely helpful when making a homebrew kit for me. they have a large selection of bottles, ranging from brown 12 oz to large Grolsch style bottles. the easy-go style kits for ingredients are varied, from simple bud light clones to dubbel kits. though, of course they do have bulk and separate ingredients, the kits are very nice. Small, never crowded, and a great staff, the Butler Winery is sure to not displease. they also apparently sell wine.

Butler Winery offers everything one needs to brew any style of beer. I bought a starter equipment kit for a decent price and they also sell every equipment upgrade you could need, including kegging stuff. Many types of hops and grains on hand for a reasonable price. The best part about this place is the employee service. The people at Butler have helped me so much to understand homebrewing better and have given me tips on recipes I've created. They are very knowledgeable there.

Stop by Butler Winery if your in the Bloomington area.

I like Butler Winery. They have a very good selection of ingredients priced very well! Maris Otter is the same as American Two-Row, only $1.25 per pound! How great is that? A good selection of pellet hops with a ton of cascade, EKG and the other standard whole leaf and some others sometimes too. Good selection of White Lab's strains all well before the use-before date. I haven't really explored their equipment selection/prices, but I imagine its decent as well. Also, they mill your grains for free.

They have a twice-annual sale where lots of stuff is cheap. Got a 55lb sack of Maris Otter this fall for 35$.

They'll order you pretty much anything and its usually less than a week and shipping is paid.
