440 mL can poured into a pint glass. Brewed and canned in the UK by Carlsberg UK.
A slow pour yields a very thick, solid white head--lots o' foam! Sits atop an deep yellow brew.
Nothing unusual (or interesting for that matter) in the aroma.
Tastes okay, but again nothing interesting. It doesn't taste bad--very mild, more bitter than sweet.
Drinkability is average on this. It's a nice throw-back beer when you don't want something big or rich, but it's nothing fancy either.

Head doesn’t last very long and is pretty fizzy. Smell of faint hops, corn, grass. Taste is fairly pleasant. Some bitterness to cut out a mildly artificial sweetness. Finishes dry and refreshing.
This is a very well balanced macro. It is the best in my country out of the cheap lagers in supermarkets. No one seems to reach for this and they go for Coors Light or Stella (you’re welcome!)
This is very good for the price.

Used to be a German beer, now "brewed in the EU" according to the label...and brewed in Northampton, England according to Wikipedia by Carlsberg!
I remember not liking this much when I was younger, my dad used to drink it...however this is my first beer for 2 weeks so maybe it will be amazing.
Glucose syrup is an ingredient...hmmm...
Ok head...very clear appearence, not much aliveness after pouring.
Aroma is quite chemically somehow.
Holsten has a distinct chemically hop taste that I remember from the past...but after a few sips it improves slightly. However I'm definitely not a fan...this is not good in my view...

MJ's 1999 "Guide" gave this one of 4 stars. Enough said.
