Bad pour delivers an enormous head of eggshell white foam 3+ fingers thick. Color is a very nicely subdued honey amber hue, looks a bit thin however. Quite a handsome beer, looks great in my dimpled stein. Smell is hoppy pine and resin. Mild sweetness in the nose, no floral aromas to be found. Taste is a great combination of fruits from the hops and a sweetness from the malts used, really makes for great tastes. Juicy fruits, slight raw pine resin character, finishes mildly sweet and balanced with a low hops bitterness. Very nicely done. Feel is medium bodied with very low carbonation levels.
Another solid seasonal from Deschutes here.
