Nice orange color, crystal clear, with a nice cap of bright white foam. Somewhat bready on the nose, with just a bit of fruity hops. Nicely balanced on the palate, with good sweet malt balanced nicely against the mild hops. Drinkable, especially nice on a warm, spring Saturday afternoon.

Pours a semi-translucent yellow-orange with a nice foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Leaves a decent amount of lacing.

Aroma has lots of citrus up front with some spices. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple. Some lightly toasted malts.

Taste has more of the malts up front, followed by slightly muted citrus and a hint of sweetness at the end. Some floral hops and pine as well.

Light bodied and rather dry. Quite thin.

Overall, a very crisp and refreshing beer. I'm typically not a fan of the "Summer Ale", but this one does it quite well.

With all of the malt upfront in this beer you would expect some sweetness, yet this beer didn't offer that or any really distinctive malt flavor. The hops are acceptable but finish dry and astringent. It left me thirstier than when I started which isn't ideal for a summer brew.

Got a single bottle from my gf. poured into a pint glass and paired with chips and salsa.

A&S: Translucent orange colored beer lively with carbonation bubbles. The head is a tad off white and leaves some lacing along the glass. Majority of the aroma is citrus hops complemented by spices and a malty undertone.

T&M: Not super flavorful, lots of malty tones. The hoppy citrus and earthy tones are not all that presence in the taste. Although it lack a huge flavor profile it is quite nice for summer. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, not overly crisp and sharp though.

Overall: Doesn't really match the style of beer. I assumed that this beer was a pale until I saw the label on BA. So that would be my biggest complaint about it. A very enjoyable summer brew, would buy again (if on sale or something).
