12oz bottle poured into shaker pint.
A: Clear amber-golden color with a finger of frothy off-white head.
S: Light caramel sweetness and slightly bitter floral hops. Nice balance, neither overpowering nor too weak.
T: Hop bitterness is a bit more pronounced here, though it's a shift of balance that makes prolonged drinking of this easier. Biscuity and a bit metallic, with a lingering bitter finish.
M: Smooth and creamy, moderate carbonation.
O: Very drinkable for prolonged sessions with this one. Not that I'm rating it any higher because of this, but the low cost will have me returning to this one soon.

on tap at Doubletree Hilton Hotel, Portland
Dark amber with white film.
Dark toast, orange rind, and pine on the nose.
Caramel and peach sweetness with lots of candy, then resin and tangelo hops end.
Mango finish and dry linger.
Medium, chewy, round.
Candy sweet - very entry level. No IBU bite, and cloys a bit. Slight sandpaper bitterness as it warms, but just not what I’m looking for in an APA.
