Brilliant golden-orange color, slightly opaque, topped with 3/4" dense foam that leaves equally dense lacing.
Smells purely like cascade hops: grapefruit citrus with a mild note of pine.
Like the smell, the hop profile of mirror pond is simple and unadulterated. A citric bitterness, accented with just a little bit of sweet, bready malt. The citrus and sweetness call to mind a ripe tangerine. Finish is super clean, too. Very little aftertaste lingers, making it ideal to pair with any number of settings and foods.
Light, crisp, clean mouthfeel make it very inviting for summer.
Overall, one of the most easily likeable beers I've encountered. Simple, drinkable, refreshing, and delicious.

on tap at Doubletree Hilton Hotel, Portland
Dark amber with white film.
Dark toast, orange rind, and pine on the nose.
Caramel and peach sweetness with lots of candy, then resin and tangelo hops end.
Mango finish and dry linger.
Medium, chewy, round.
Candy sweet - very entry level. No IBU bite, and cloys a bit. Slight sandpaper bitterness as it warms, but just not what I’m looking for in an APA.

I was looking at reviews of this earlier today and decided to go for it. Not sure why earlier posts mention great hops in this one. Just not feeling that. Maybe my six pack is bad but this is similar to budweiser. Very disappointed! Yep, AAL taste all the way.
