12 oz in a snifter via trade from Nitrogen (as always, thank you).
APPEARANCE: Dark black with a thin head, quickly disappears into the thick black
SMELL: Strong smell of chocolate, roasted malts and grain. Powerful smell.
TASTE: Smell of chocolate and malts. The taste isn't as strong as I expected. Wasn't as much there as the smell gave off. I guess I expected more from this beer.
MOUTHFEEL: To thin for stout for me. Too watery for me. Not quite what I expect.
DRINKABILITY: I Could sip this for awhile, but overall, I wouldn't want too many of these.
I expected more from this beer because of the reviews and all of the talk, but it really didn't do much for me. I honestly expected a lot more, but it really didn't do much for me.

Had on nitro at Draught House on 4/7/14
A-Pours black with a medium sized bubbly tan head. Excellent lacing!
S-The aroma is big on espresso with a healthy balance of chocolate. Roasted malts and licorice are present as well.
T-The taste has some sweetness in it to go along with some bitterness. Flavors of espresso and to a lesser extant chocolate remain strong. Long aftertaste of espresso.
M-Medium bodied, with a thicker texture, with softer carbonation.
O-This one doesn’t do anything to crazy. Its just very solid.
Serving type: nitro-tap
