Simple, drinkable, bitter cocoa and earthy hops Stout.
A: Black hole black... can't even get a highlight when holding it to a bare bulb. Two finger medium khaki head of fine bubbles that settles quickly to a film
S: Roasty espresso, baker's chocolate, molasses, and earthy, spicy hops. Straightforward and delicious.
T: Taste is all about bitter... cocoa and earthy hops. A sweet, creamy foundation provides distant but persistent counterpoint. Perhaps just a tad flavor shy, but it's not an RIS. What it is, however, is a simple, delicious, and extremely drinkable stout.
M: Creamy, yet with enough fine texture to hold on to.
