Served in tulip
A: Deep ebony body with good head that reduces itself to a thin film.
S: Husks, nuts and smoky coffee.
T: A decent smoky malt with a slightly metallic (not unpleasantly so) finish. No hops evident. Some veg and stones there in the middle with earthy notes.
M: Not well carbonated but should not be overly so for this style.
D: I will come back to this but today I was not overly impressed. Anchor and others still make a much better daily drinking porter. There is just nothing about this that is that memorable is all.
