Poured into a pint glass from a 22oz bottle.
Pours a nice lighter mahogany with some dark caramel edges. There is a nice 1 inch head with some dense bubbles and some nice medium sized ones sprinkled around. THe head is a light tan/cream color.
Tons of delicious roasty and bready notes. Even some slight nut notes. ALmonds and even peanuts. Very bready and toasty and there are some slight banana bread notes. Roasted notes with some coffee sprinkled around as well as some nice chocolate.
Nice roasted start with some bready grain notes. Very nice and slightly toasty. Feel is a bit lighter than expected and than I would prefer. Nothing like Founders Porter. There is some nice smoke in there that can be perceived as well. With a nice coffee finish and bitterness.
Ok porter. Although I am a bit disappointed. Would've wanted a bit more body but flavor is good.

Pours a nice dark, dark brown with an off white head. The aroma is roasty, dark chocolatechocolate, and earthy. Flavor matches the aroma pretty well and you can throw in a bit of licorice. Pretty crisp, medium bodied mouthfeel. A very nice beer, one of the best porters I have yet to discover.
