12 oz. bottle (now distributed to Southeastern PA) poured into a tulip.
A- Dark amber in color, with some vibrant red and burnt orange highlights shining brightly when held straight up to a light. The head is yellowish tan and retains well with some really nice looking lacing left behind.
S- Dark fruit in the aroma, some raisin. Spice is apparent, as expected. There is a sweetness in the nose as well, along with a little booze.
T- Sweet raisin and a little caramel. Spices come through along with a some hop.
M- Medium, slightly creamy in body. Spice lingers in the feel. Bitterness may be a little too much for me for this style.
O- Overall this isn't bad. It's wonderful looking, and has a good taste. The bitterness in the finish is just a little more than I like.

On tap at the Local Taphouse.
Pours a red colour, bit of haze. Head is off-white, webbed lace but sticks to the glass. Looks nice.
Smells like banana esters, with some dry sweet spice, nutmeg and vanilla. Touch of raisin. Could have more richness and more robustness, but decent.
Taste is chocolatey. Dry cocoa with some toffee, sultanas and some dried orange peel. Not much spice; more fruit and lots of chocolate. Not bad.
Full body, nicely textured. Slightly dry on the back.
Nice beer; have had better spiced Winter seasonals though, generally better because of more spice.
