Dark mahogany color with a 1 finger, light tan head with excellent retention and lacing.
Dark malt, faint chocolate, mild/faint holiday spice make up the nose.
Nice flavor and balance but very simple and kind of underwhelming. You just want it to be a little better than it is. The holiday spices barely come through at all for me. Kind of just tastes like a brown ale. Faint touch or chocolate and vanilla somewhere in there too.
Light-medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall it's a good beer but nothing special just a slightly above avg winter warmer with decent flavor and balance.
