Pours a rich redish murky brown with a thick creamy tan head that leaves beautiful lacing.
Nice sweet aroma, dark fruit, spices, cinnamon, clove, some dark roasted malt and sweet malt hold it all together.
Very similar to the nose, the flavor is malty with plenty of spice, mostly cinnamon with a little brown sugar.
Solid medium body with a charming medium-light carbonation that really compliments everything going on without getting in front of the flavors.

On tap at the Local Taphouse.
Pours a red colour, bit of haze. Head is off-white, webbed lace but sticks to the glass. Looks nice.
Smells like banana esters, with some dry sweet spice, nutmeg and vanilla. Touch of raisin. Could have more richness and more robustness, but decent.
Taste is chocolatey. Dry cocoa with some toffee, sultanas and some dried orange peel. Not much spice; more fruit and lots of chocolate. Not bad.
Full body, nicely textured. Slightly dry on the back.
Nice beer; have had better spiced Winter seasonals though, generally better because of more spice.
