Pours a deep amber to almost burnt copper color with an inch of off-white to tannish head. Slight sticky lacing on the glass.
Dark roasted, burnt, sweet malt aromas. Slightly citrusy almost tangy hop aroma.
Lot's of deep rich roasted malt taste. Not as bitter as I expected. More malty sweetness. This beer is surprisingly balanced for an IPA. It is unexpected.
Medium bodied with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Good drinkability.
