12oz. bottle poured into standard bar pint glass. Reviewing from notes.
A: Pours a nice, hazed copper color with what with a large creamy, off-white head. The large head eventually fades down to a cap after a few minutes, and leaves staggering amounts of sticky lacing all down the glass. This one is pretty!
S: An aromatic melody of floral, grassy hops alongside some really clean citrus zest. A slight touch of malt sweetness underneath, with an even slighter impression of spicy alcohol.
T: A solid hop bitterness slaps around your tastebuds, with a nice profile of freshly juiced grapefruit seeping through. More than a hint of malt sweetness balances out the initial bitterness. Finishes with a wave of warming alcohol that says, "Slow down. This isn't your little brother's beer!"
M: Has a pleasant creaminess and silky smooth feeling all around. Mild carbonation does just enough without getting in the way. It'd be more than easy to put a few of these back without realizing.
O: I wouldn't call this a big brew, but it certainly packs a bit of a punch. Lots of unadulterated hop flavor that is paired with (and not masked by) some refreshing citrus zest and underlying sweetness. Drinks smooth and satisfying. This one is definitely deserving of praise, and I might just find myself picking up a six-pack of this before the warm summer nights are over.

I really enjoyed this IPA. Descheutes Never let's me down with their beer. It has a nice honey golden color. Smell is of a hoppy nature but not overbearingly hoppy. I like my beers super hoppy which would make this one perfect for a none Double IPA sipper. Taste is nice when it hits the palate. Little floral note with a nice amount of bitterness. Smooth going down without the syrupy feel you get from some IPA's. Throughly enjoyed this beer and will definitely drink again!

On tap at the Local Taphouse.
Pours a red colour, head is white. Mild lace but decent on the edge. Nice.
Smells hoppy and pleasant. Touch of rubber, but nice citrus and resin. Mild, crisp. Touch of pine needle and dish detergent. Nice.
Taste is stodgier than expected, quite yeasty on the mid and back with quite a full body. Bit of pine and mild sherbet but yeah, yeasty and chalky. Not quite as much hop cleanliness as I may have expected on the back.
Slight tingle on the back. OK feel.
Not quite as bitter as it could have been, feels a little heavy as well.
