Dark, barely visible copper colored body. Poured a strong, tight bubbled head and left a curtain of lacing. Beautiful.
S- bready/biscuity, caramel, pine, grapefruit, spices, hops and a hint of booze.
T- I knew this was going to be a bitter, sweet drinking beer, but the IBU seem higher then it really is. The hops, grapefruit and pine take over but the caramel and malt is there to balance things out nicely. Slight biscuit backbone.
M- Medium bodied, medium carbonation and a dry finish.
Solid IPA. Border line between a West Coast IPA and an East coast. Ill be coming back to this.
